Year of the Tiger 2022

A relaxed Chinese zodiac painting for the Year of the Tiger 2022. Tigers are often depicted as fierce and majestic beasts but I wanted to show their silly side. That side refers to cats' seemingly uncomfortable yet satisfied resting poses. Yeah, house cats and their wild counterparts are truly lucky for having snake-like flexibility for situations like that! :D I paired the tiger character's natural orange coloration with blues and greens to highlight her association with water since it's apparently the element of this year's tiger.
