Skull in Purple

I hadn't drawn or painted intricately/appropriately detailed skulls in ages, so I made this study during the holidays in December (hah, such an unappropriate subject for the season!). Noticing that there's a hole between the zygomatic arch and the squamous portion of temporal bone was one of the biggest gains of doing a proper study, because I had often overlooked that part. Now I feel that I still have a lot to learn about skull anatomy!
